28 June 2016, Tuesday: District sharing meeting on Safe Migration for Bangladeshi Workers Project has been conducted by Alliance for Cooperation and Legal Aid Bangladesh (ACLAB) and BRAC, funded by JSDF, World Bank at Cox’s Bazar district D.C. Office. The meeting Chaired by District Coordinator of BRAC Mr. Ojit Nondi and Chief Guest was Additional District Magistrate Mr. Md. Abdus Sobahan along with others government officials, local government people, NGO representatives, journalist, teachers, representative from district youth development department. It has been discussed in the meeting that to continue ongoing activities and for ensure safe migration through collective coordination. Mr. Mahabubur Rahman Bhuiyan, Manager of Malaria Control Program and Mr. Masud Rana, Project Manager of Safe Migration Program facilitated this meeting.
