ACLAB

Bangladesh Malaria Control Programs Team has been nominated to Mr. Syed Tarikul Islam the Executive Director of Alliance for Cooperation and Legal Aid Bangladesh (ACLAB) for coming membership election of Bangladesh Country Coordinating Mechanisms (BCCM). Its noted that The Bangladesh Country Coordinating Mechanism (BCCM) committee consists of 33 members, with representation from both the public and private sectors, including government, multilateral or bilateral agencies, non-governmental organizations, academics, private sector, key affected populations (KAP) and people living with the diseases (PLWD). The CCM is a central pillar of the Global Fund’s architecture to ensure country-driven, coordinated, and multi-sectoral processes for leveraging and effecting additional resources … to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria. During the Annual Planing Meeting of Malaria Control Programs has been conducting at the Hotel Sea Palace in Cox's Bazar district in Bangladesh on dated 27th t0 28th September 2016, Bangladesh Team Malaria gave nomination to Mr. Syed Tarikul Islam to participate into the BCCM election on behalf of Bangladesh Malaria Control Programs Team.

ACLAB has been implementing Malaria control programs in hill-tracks district since 2007 funded by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) and Government of Bangladesh (GoB) through BRAC (Building Resources Across Communities).

Also, since inception, ACLAB implemented and continuing many projects on prevention of HIV/AIDS  and others public health issues in different districts in Bangladesh.

Mr. Syed Tarikul Islam also Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Community Radio Naf 99.2 fm, Teknaf-Cox's Bazar and Secretary General of Bangladesh Community Radio Association (BCRA).

Mr. Tarikul Islam want your wishes and requested to everybody to pray for him so that he play a leadership role in the Bangladesh Country Coordinating Mechanisms (BCCM) for its development in order to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement and building a Digital Bangladesh.
